The Wadworth 6X jersey came about when the brewery in Devizes, Wiltshire, saw the one I’d done for Westons Cider and thought they’d like one of their brands on a jersey too.
The obvious choice was the 6X brand as it’s by far their most popular and most widely known. The bold 6X logo usually has an all black background which would have looked a bit plain, and not the best colour for cycling out on the roads. To get around this, without diluting the main logo, I duplicated the Wadworth name and added it to the background in a pale grey.
So there’s definitely no mistaking who the brewer is now!
