Roger Jackson has over thirty-seven years experience in the drinks trade and has worked for Multinational, International, National and Privately owned companies; having spent the past nineteen years at Westons Cider. Much in demand, he decided to make the move into the arena of consulting and is now freelance.
Extremely brand-aware, Roger has a good understanding of design, what works and what doesn’t, which allowed this project to progress at a good pace.
This logo needed to clearly tie his name, and function, to that of the bottled, rather than cask, aspect of the drinks trade. I created six different concept during this project before refining them down to the finished logo.
The use of negative space, placing the glass within the bottle, coupled with crisp, clear fonts and a warm grey colour gives the logo real presence without it being shouty.
