My Pharmacist & Drury’s Parmacy: Marketing Designs

My is the online partner to Drury’s Pharmacy, a company that has been trading from Newquay for over fifty years.
I have been working with them for more than six years, supplying all manner of designs, from post cards, to shop signs, logos, staff clothing, cartoons, web graphics, 3D sculptures, email campaigns and many, many more.
Below is a small selection of my designs, created for this very forward-thinking business that clearly understands the importance of Brand.






My Pharmacist: Postcard Marketing

Above is a selection of the seasonally themed A5 postcards that are sent out with orders; Each carries a promotional message on the reverse. They have proven very successful and customers are even collecting them, giving the business a presence in the customer’s home. A great marketing tool.

My Pharmacist: The Main Man

This character was originally conceived over seventeen years ago, but was sent to me for redrawing and finessing. I’ve also developed the character and drawn him in many different poses and situations. He has become the identity of the online business and is now the Trade Mark.

Drury’s Pharmacy: The Shield

To celebrate fifty years of trading I created this shield for a variety of uses, from inch-high letterheads to large shopfront signage. It was also perfect for the customer Rewards Card which I designed a few months later.

My Pharmacist: Business Cards
Business cards are far more important than most people realise; first impressions do count.
When Ford introduced the Focus, more than fifteen years ago, they did a massive amount of research into a customer’s perception of a vehicle, based solely on what they could see and touch within the first few moments of taking the driver’s seat.
This is my approach when designing business cards.
This particular card not only has a totally original design, but the rounded corner sets it apart, along with the quality of card used and the smooth, velvet-like surface. All these are noticed as soon as the card is in the hand. It may cost a little more than a D.I.Y online template, but it will get you noticed!

My Pharmacist: Email Campaigns

Producing professional email campaigns is not expensive. Once the theme for the edition is agreed, then the images are created and copy written, or supplied. Like the majority of companies, I use the award winning Mail Chimp software. Even their free version has just about all the attributes you need to run a superb campaign. Best of all, you set up the account so that you have full control over its activity; something I feel is vital with any social or online media.

The My Pharmacist Rewards Card

The My Pharmacist Card is the customer loyalty and rewards card for the online Pharmacy business; Marketed both on their website and via the A5 postcards.

The card itself is printed on a flexible substrate which has a magnetic backing, effectively turning it into a fridge magnet. This means that the Pharmacy has a visual presence in the busiest room in the house, making this card an extremely effective marketing tool!
